The Westin Bear Mountain Golf Resort

On June 21, 2017, Chris Currie, Jordan Ray, and Jaegan Patron, along with a few other golfers, golfed 664 holes in support of those living with ALS. Joining them was member Bill Stafford; the golf resort’s owner, Dan Matthews, and his 16-year-old daughter Alexa; CFO David Clarke; PGA Professional Roger Sloan; and Cailean Hourigan.

Golfing from 4:45am to 8:15pm, Chris, Jordan, Jaegan, Bill, and Alexa golfed 100 holes each. They shot 66 birdies, with Chris getting a birdie on his 70th hole, and Jaegan on his 100th !!

“On a beautiful day like this, you’re having giggles, you’re having great food and beverage as well but every so often I think of my dad, who pretty much introduced me to the game…It is a tough day but it’s obviously rewarding,” said Chris Currie, Golf Sales Manager at Bear Mountain. The event is especially close to him, as he lost his father, Leonard, to ALS in 2014.
